Cycle Blackpool Prices
In order to proved better and faster access to the bikes at all times of day we have implemented an automated telephone service for renting bikes and topping up credit. As part of this we have simplified the pricing.
Using the bikes costs £1 per hour for everyone. However there is a minimum charge of £6 per bike for new subscribers, whether you are just here for the day or want to use the bikes on a daily basis. This gives 6 hours cycling per bike which is sufficient for a days riding. The temporary membership card number you are given by the telephone system will last for 30 days, and can be topped up during that time either by calling the hire-a-bike number, or online by logging into this site using the membership card number and PIN.
So if you are visiting for a few days, your 6hrs initial cycling can be used over several days, or topped up.
If you have bought your initial temporary membership using the telephone system and you want to carry on using the bikes on a regular basis, we recommend upgrading to a full membership to avoid losing any unused credit. When you first log into this site, if you have a temporary membership number you will be given the option to upgrade for a one-off fee of £10. This means you will keep any unused credit, your membership number will never expire and you will also get the first 30 minutes of every rental for free !
Of course if you register for membership through this website site then you will automatically receive full membership, and you can start with as much top-up as you want (minimum £6 per bike).
Notes
The rental time is the period between removing a bike from a HUB, to returning the bike to the same or different HUB. Call us to terminate your hire if the HUB is full (which we can confirm online).
